Not only is Russell Brand knocking around Ireland it seems but he's also taking some time to sample the culinary delights of Greystones.

The comedian stopped by the famous Happy Pear café yesterday (or at least he tweeted about it yesterday) and even snapped a few pics with staff. Take a look below:

"A culinary utopia full of beautiful people." Not a bad endorsement, wha'? No doubt the Happy Pear twins were doing somersaults over that one.

The brothers - Stephen and David Flynn - commented under Brand's Instagram post saying: "Russel you legend! Thanks so much for visiting! Keep up the fab work and being you! Hopefully see you again sometime."

It's not yet clear why Brand, who just became a father for the second time, is on our fair shores. Perhaps it was just a flying visit, or maybe he just wanted to nab himself some delicious Happy Pear free porridge? Sure why not.
