The Rolling Stones guitarist has reportedly asked 34-year-old theatre producer Sally Humphreys, who he started dating earlier this year, to marry him, according to The Sun. They met while "working together on his box sets."
Cue a recap of Ronnie's love life of late. He split from Jo Wood four years ago after 24 years of marriage - when he ran off with 18-year-old cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova - but their divorce was only concluded last year. Things took the inevitable downturn with Katia after the pair were involved in a drunken brawl, which culminated in Wood trying to strangle her in a Surrey street.
When they parted ways, she did Celebrity Big Brother, while he strutted into the arms of 32-year-old Brazilian model Ana Araujo. But she too turned out to be a fame hound, and the pair parted ways after two years. At the time, The Daily Mail reported: "A friend explained Miss Araujo’s desire to be in the spotlight had ‘frustrated’ Wood, adding: 'She would try and drag him along to the opening of an envelope'."
While former model Jo - who has children Leah, 33 and 28-year-old Tyrone with Ronnie - says she will "always love" the 65-year-old rocker, she admitted they had some terrible times in their marriage.
She recently said: "I'll always love my ex-husband, but when I look back on stuff, I do think, 'Ooh, what a rotten b*****d he was." Particularly when she had to leave their marital home: "I loved that house so much. It was like being a princess in a castle, and I was really sad to go. I knew that I couldn't stay there on my own - it cost so much to run - but it was heartbreaking. I cried my eyes out when I left."
Ronnie is due to become a grandad again shortly as Fearne Cotton is expecting Jesse Wood's child imminently.
