No matter how hard he tries to come across as unattractive, it backfires massively. Now Robert Pattinson is an "extraordinarily loud" kisser. "Not great", you might say, but wait 'til you hear what he compares himself to.

The 26-year-old actor - who has reconciled with his Twilight Saga co-star Kristen Stewart (just in time for their promotional duties) following a brief split because she cheated on him - is confused why his lips appear to be a "vacuum" that make a lot of noise when he smooches with someone.

After being shown a clip from new movie The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 ('cause that's the film he's promoting) on JImmy Kimmel, he said: "I just noticed, this is a very clear example of it, every single scene I end up kissing someone... I have extraordinarily loud little pecks. It sounds like I'm walking around in Wellies... I don't understand, my lip is literally like a vacuum." A vacuum, you say. That's not without its uses... apologies.

Robert also spoke of his new-found passion for skydiving: "I went skydiving in Australia. I felt so relaxed. I loved it. I wanted to do it again immediately afterwards ... That's also how I want to die."

While he enjoyed his time in Australia, the star admitted he is a "freak" because he doesn't usually like exploring when he has to travel to promote his films.

Asked what he does when he travels, he said: "I'm a freak. I want to stay in my hotel room the whole time."

That too could have its uses.
