Rihanna's cousin has died following a shooting in Barbados yesterday.
The singer posted a series of photos of her and her cousin, Tavon Kaiseen Alleyn, to Instagram early this morning alongside the caption:
"RIP cousin... can't believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms! never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body!!! Love you always man! #endgunviolence"
According to local reports, police are now investigating the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Alleyne who was walking near his home in St Michael around 7pm "when he was approached by a man who shot him multiple times before fleeing the scene".
Alleyne was rushed to hospital but later died from his injuries.
