Real Madrid's Pepe tends to be portrayed by the media as a bit of a loose canon, mainly because of his robust playing style, but with the Christmas coming up, they were happy to show the other side to the very physical defender.
As a member of one of the biggest football teams in the world, Pepe can afford to give a little bit extra this Christmas, and many families have been affected quite badly by the economic crisis that hit Spain and the rest of Europe quite badly.
In particular, there are a number of underprivileged families in the Las Rozas area of the city who were looking at having to plan for a very difficult Christmas indeed, but a generous donation from Pepe will help out over 200 families this December, as he donated 9000kg of food to help them out.

Pepe lives near to the district, and he brought his large donation personally to a center where the families could pick it up, and enjoy a happy Christmas without having to worry about how they could pay for it all.

He made the drop off two days ago, because of the fact that Madrid would be competing in the World Club Championship over the Christmas (up until the 20th of December) and therefore he wouldn't be around closer to the festivities.
