Back in September, Paul Walker's daughter - Meadow - sued Porsche for the wrongful death of her father two yeas ago. Now Porsche have responded with documents filed last week stating that the actor's "death, and all other injuries or damages claimed, were the result of [his] own comparative fault.”
In September, 16-year-old Meadow sued for unspecified damages, "alleging negligence and wrongful death", and that the Porsche Carrera GT Walker was driving in is "a dangerous car that doesn’t belong on the street." The lawsuit also reportedly claimed that "the actor became trapped because the car's seatbelt 'snapped Walker's torso back with thousands of pounds of force, thereby breaking his ribs and pelvis' - meaning he could not escape the fire."
According to Gawker: "Porsche describes her father as 'a knowledgeable and sophisticated user of the 2005 Carrera GT.' Porsche also says that the car was 'abused and altered' and 'misused and improperly maintained.' It seems likely that this is a reference to the fact that investigators determined that Walker was driving on a pair of 9-year-old tires."
As a result of this, both Meadow Walker and Porsche "are seeking a juried trial."
