Owen Roddy is one of the best combat sports athletes Ireland has ever produced.
A former professional Mixed Martial Artist who fought out of SBG, Owen was competing against the best in the world before the UFC even had his weight class. Now a hugely in-demand coach, Owen has cornered (alongside head coach John Kavanagh) current UFC star Conor McGregor for the vast majority of his fights and continues to as the Notorious one clears out the Featherweight division. Owen appears on this season on The Ultimate Fighter, currently airing on BT Sports and Setanta Ireland as an assistant coach, and he also runs his own gym, SBG Charlestown in North Dublin.
