For some people, the weekend's TV was dominated by the occasion of Charles's coronation.
The British monarch was crowned in a glitzy ceremony at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, but on Sunday evening a star-studded concert took place in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Alongside the likes of performances by Take That, Katy Perry, Olly Murs, Lionel Richie and Paloma Faith, several famous faces popped up on video inserts during the concert.
One of them was Irish actor Pierce Brosnan, who paid tribute to Charles's "Action Man skills", and saying "King Charles III is a caring man. He's a kind man, he's a compassionate man and he has always risen to the occasion for the people. I have every confidence that he will be an inspiration for this generation and future generations to come."
Tom Cruise, meanwhile, sent a message to the new king from the cockpit of a plane, saying "Pilot to pilot - your majesty, you can be my wingman any time."
This undoubtedly would have been a lot more impressive, if not for the fact that Cruise employed the very same shoot to accept his MTV award, also broadcast last night. Hey, those mid-air camera crews are expensive, y'know.
