OK, let's get straight on this - c'mere to us, Kaley. You've made a BIG name for yourself by being - quite literally - the attractive yet attainable 'Girl Next Door.' Possibly, in a bid to release yourself from this label (not that we're reading into this too much, or anything), you now appear to be modelling yourself on Charlize Theron.

While, that's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just not Penny off Big Bang Theory. And we really like Penny. For example, she would've gone to the trouble of (getting a caffeine fuelled Sheldon) attaching a little flower to each of the bobby pins in your hair. The many, many, bobby pins.

There was a twist to the monochrome theme from last night's People Choice Awards in the form of Horizontal Stripes. I know. Who had the balls to wear Horizontal stripes? The lovely Olivia Munn...

... and a very sexy Katharine McPhee in Balmain. Eat your heart out, la Lopez.

Sarah Hyland was worn by Christian Siriano (she's not wearing 'it' is she...), while Modern Family co-star Ariel Winter looked very sophisticated in a Smythe tux dress (you can also pick up her sandals in Aldo).

If you prefer the full Tux look, Bella Thorne got her's from Armani.

Kristen Bell wore Monique Lhuillier. The colour is really nice on her. And that's the only positive thing we can muster to be honest. I know she's only just given birth, and it can be really tricky dressing your resulting figure, but this just does nothing for her. If in doubt, resort to the always flattering/reliable Empire line.

Awards co-host Anna Faris in a very alluring peplum dress by Juan Carlos Obando, while Allison Janney dazzled in silver sequins.

Ellen Pompeo wore an Ellie Saab jumpsuit that needed taking up just slightly...

Ellen DeGeneres (in one of her own designs, available soon) and wife Portia de Rossi (in Zuhair Murad), who - has to be said - looked like a Vegas magician and her attractive assistant.

And, boy, are they having fun with it.
