While our winter just KEEPS ON GIVING despite it being March, spare a thought for the Aussies (and most of our exports) who had the warm and fuzzy rug of summer pulled spectacularly from under their bare feet yesterday on the official first day of Autumn.
To quote Buzzfeed, "the seasons changed in realtime", with a helluva storm rolling in over Sydney, which closed beaches (yes, even Coogee), unsettled planes. unnerved folk on ferries, made hands shake while taking Vines, and generally brought a tear to many an eye.
Here it is, via the wonder that is twitter.

Horizontal rain. Hard rain and strong winds. Tiny hail now. South side is coping this storm. Glad I'm safe inside.
