Well, in her defence, the book is called 'Selfish'... and she's surrounded herself with plants for her picture 'honoring' planet earth. And apologies for the title, someone had to take the bait.
In all seriousness, she captioned the above selfie: "In honor of Earth Day here is my best plant selfie from my new book #Selfish coming out May 5th! #ivegotaselfieforeveryoccasion."
Even Kim knows that this is pushing it a bit, so she quickly followed the above post with a very cute pic of North playing a jovial game of footsie with her father.
