As the Garda Siochana said themselves, you never know what you'll find out on patrol.
Gardai from Greystones Station discovered a small micro-pig wandering the roads of Kilcoole earlier today. The little chap, who doesn't appear to have a name or any kind of identification, was then taken to Kilcoole Animal Hospital, where he's currently hanging out waiting for his owners to come get him.

Here's the micro-pig in question. Judging from the photos, it appears he's a pet of some kind, but didn't come with any tag or collar which may make identification difficult.
As you can imagine, the idea of a missing pig wasn't lost on anyone on Twitter.
