The incident occurred last Sunday when 19 year old Hunter Jobbins, a student at Kansas State University, parked in front of his dorm for 15 minutes.
Reportedly, Jobbins was at first distraught when he realised his car had been broken into, but upon seeing this note, scrawled upon a napkin, left behind by the thief, he was able to see the lighter side of things:

The student posted a picture of the note, which has been shared over 180,000 times (at the time of writing), on Twitter.
