An unnamed cat has become a regular fixture on the Tokyo subway.
According to several newspapers, the cat is regularly seen making itself comfortable on the seats without the presence of an owner.

It's not a new hobby for the cat either, as this tweet from 2013 proves, the cat has been riding the subway as far back as 2013.

Although it's mostly seen lounging on the seats like it owns the place (as all cats do) it's been known to make space for humans where necessary.

Japan have introduced rules to prevent pets from travelling on public transport without their owners but have made an exception for this particular feline due to the joy it brings to other passengers.
