We may laugh at our American counterparts for their behaviour on Black Friday but when it comes around to the St. Stephen's Day sales, are we really much better?
There were huge crowds gathered on Grafton Street this morning for Brown Thomas to open and all we can say is we're glad we're watching from the safety of our own homes.
Here's what the queue was like just before the store opened.
And as the doors opened...
Daragh Brophy of thejournal.ie caught live footage of the doors opening at 9am.

Oh the giddiness in their voices.
With up to 50% up on some items, bargain hunters braved the cold and the crowds in search of deals they won't see again this year.
Yeah. We're good on the couch for today thanks.
