Back to the Future day may have been last October but that doesn't mean replicas of Doc Brown's DeLorean can't still be spotted around the place. 

Two Gardaí came across one in the early hours of this morning when a gentleman seemed to be having some car trouble (probably an issue with the flux capacitor). 

The Garda in question took some photos of the encounter which were then tweeted out from the official Garda Twitter account along with a superb Back to the Future reference. 

Reports that the driver of the DeLorean responded by saying that where he was going he didn't need roads have as yet been unconfirmed.
