A picture says a thousand words.
Last Saturday, hundreds of thousands of people across America and the globe took to the streets to exercise their right to protest, holding handmade signs criticising Donald Trump’s recent inauguration.
One of those in attendance was Ian McKellen, who wrote a message saying “The Women’s March in London was the longest I have been on” and that the President “h[as] riled us, got under our skin, making us angry and despairing that he should have got through to the final of his show and turned democracy into a tv/twitter spectacular.”

The sign he carried features a picture and popular meme of his best friend Patrick Stewart, which is pretty much the most prolific facepalm meme out there.
This is just great. Ian McKellen is the GOAT 🙌ðŸÂ?¾. #Womensmarch pic.twitter.com/dDZKK3WNsm
