Wallet?....Phone?....Passport?!
They really are the only three essentials one needs when travelling abroad. We've probably all had a last minute scramble to locate our passports at some point in our lives but how many of you have taken somebody else's passport with you to the airport? And gotten away with it?
Josh Reed was travelling from London Stanstead to Dortmund airport with Ryanair and made it all the way through security using his girlfriend's passport which he'd taken with him by mistake. If you thought that Josh was just some chancer who successfully managed to hoodwink the authorities you'd be wrong. He didn't actually realise the passport wasn't his own until he and his friends had landed in Dortmund.
So we get the Germany, and realise Josh Reed has got through English security and onto the plane with his girlfriends passport 󾌴

"We have different surnames and we couldn’t look more different," Reed said, according to The Sun. "It makes you wonder how easy it would be for people that look alike to get through on fake passports."
Indeed this photo from his girlfriend's facebook page would really make you wonder how the airline staff managed to make such a mistake.

In an emailed statement, Ryanair said their "handling agent at the boarding gate mistakenly failed to check the passport of this passenger, and Swissport have assured us that appropriate steps will be taken to prevent a recurrence. However, it is Mr. Reed’s primary responsibility to ensure that he is traveling on his valid passport in compliance with Ryanair’s terms and conditions."
Well done on getting over there Josh. We can't wait to see how you make it back home though!
