The interview sees Gordon Ramsay feature as a guest alongside Sofia Vergara on Leno's The Tonight Show.
The celebrity chef is being labelled as "sexist" and "inappropriate" following the interview.
During the TV appearance, he touches the 'Modern Family' star repeatedly and makes fun of her.
In a clip from the interview, referring to an earlier segment in the show, Vergara says "I never scream like that in real life. It was all acting." Ramsay responds "Only in the bedroom?" as he touches her arm. The comment was met with boos from the audience.
Later, he asks the actress: "Have you had a whole wedge in your mouth at any one time?"
Then, as a result of him touching her thigh (again), Vergara actually yells "no touching" at Ramsay. By the end of the clip, it looks like she has moved herself in her chair as far away from Ramsay as possible.
