Chick Flick Alert:

"After spending the night together on the night of their college graduation Dexter and Em are shown each year on the same date to see where they are in their lives. They are sometimes together, sometimes not, on that day."

That's the blurb IMDB are using as a motivational tool to go see One Day, the film adaptation of David Nicholls' book. Incidentally, the book's tagline is much more succinct :"Twenty Years, Two People, One Day."

Our Comedy/Theatre Editor, Caroline, believes it'll be box office gold (she's fierce traumatised since finishing the book over the weekend) and, to be fair, anything featuring Jim Sturgess and Patricia Clarkson is generally a winner.

Anne Hathaway's in it too. Well, nothing in this life is perfect...

Also Featured:  Howerd Stern's long-suffering wife, Coco Rocha, Michael Michele (not a made up name), Nina Jacobson, Halley Feiffer, Imogen Poots with a less than enthused looking male companion, and the married Jonas Brother - who was probably herded along by the missus.
