NYF Dublin is the new and exciting 3 day city wide festival of Arts, Culture and Live Entertainment kicking off on the 30th of December and running right through to January 1st, and will gather together in the heart of Dublin for the biggest New Year’s celebration the city has ever seen.

Follow the Music, Comedy and Culture trails across the city. Sample some delicious artisan food at the NYF Food Village. Watch as city streetscapes come alive with 3D animations. NYF Dublin presents ‘Magic Night’ – at the Procession of Light

Experience the city enchanted as some of Dublin’s most well loved streets erupt in a stunning street procession with dazzling light installations, music, performers, fire and a touch of New Year magic! Bring all the family and join award winning processional artists LUXe with breathtaking illuminated characters inspired by the beauty of the night sky fully realised into a spectacular street animation to celebrate the turning of the year in a uniquely Dublin way.

‘Magic Night’ will entice you through some of the cities best loved streets from Stephen’s Green down Grafton Street, through Temple Bar and winding its way past the stunning City Hall to the enchanting Dublin Castle Watch from your chosen spot along the procession route or join in and parade along with ‘Magic Night’; it’s a guaranteed family feel good moment for the New Year.

Catch your first glimpse of these amazing performers from the Fusiliers Arch at Stephen’s Green, top of Grafton Street on December 31st at 19:00, meet the procession as it enchants and entertains along the way to Temple Bar and make a date to be at the Dubh Linn Gardean, Dublin Castle at 20:00 where ‘Magic Night’ culminates in a spectacular finish to 2014.

Create your own Fairytale at the Castle with Luminosity! NYF Dublin will launch the ‘Irish Year of Design 2015’ at Dublin Castle.

In the Making, the inaugural exhibition of Irish Design 2015, opens on December 30th in The Coach House, Dublin Castle, to coincide with Dublin’s New Year’s Eve Festival. In the Making is a touring exhibition organised by the Design Museum, London and curated by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby.
