There's no need to laugh, we can all be mature about this.
In July, Erling Andreassen sadly passed away at the age of 91, so he'd led a long and good life, as they say. He had enjoyed himself during his time on this earth too, and one of his favourite things in the whole world was his local football club.
That's why he decided to leave everything to them, and when we say everything, we mean the whole lot. He left every penny in his bank accounts, obviously, but also all his possessions as well as his home in the town of Vang, which were sold off and then the proceeds were given to the club, totaling nearly 4 million Norwegian Krone, which is just under €474,000.
That's an impressive haul for the team, who just so happen to be called FL Fart, which is in no way funny because the word 'fart' in Norwegian simply translates as 'speed'. Nowadays, the club have a very successful women's team that play at the highest level, who are perhaps more famous than their male counterparts, so it's also a great gesture to help them develop the game for women even further.
