The designers of a new device that claims to be able "slow down ageing", "lift depression" and "tackle cancer" might want to reconsider having Noel Edmonds associated with their product after he made a rather foolish comment to a cancer sufferer.

The Deal or No Deal host was sending out a number of tweets this morning promoting the miraculous product that is available to consumers for the reasonable (well, reasonable if it ACTUALLY worked) price of £2,315.

However there were some Twitter users who were having none of it.

Rather than ignore the tweet, which he wasn't even tagged in, Edmonds made a very ill advised suggestion to Vaun Earl (who notes in his Twitter bio that he's suffering from cancer of the kidney) that his bad health could be linked to his negative attitude.

Vaun Earl was not impressed with Edmonds' assumption and hit back.

Needless to say, there were many others on Twitter who weren't happy with Edmonds' comments.

You can have a look at the device for yourself here.
