It's looking at headlines like this one that reminds us we're living in a very strange world.
An image had circulated on Twitter last night that showed a side-by-side image of Donald Trump shaking hands with Barack Obama on his final day in office. The image essentially claimed that Donald Trump had the image photoshopped to make his hands look like slighter bigger and his jowl less... jowly? Who knows.
The image quickly went viral, amassing several thousand retweets and was widely picked up by news sites across the world. Although it looks convincing that Trump's hand is bigger in one than the other, that's not actually the case.
An investigation by Snopes.com found that the two images - although they're of the same thing - were taken seconds apart. The so-called photoshopped image was when Trump was lifting his hand off Obama's arm, whereas the other image was one when he was patting it. In other words, the hand was moved away from the body with the appearance that it looked bigger.
And here you go: A GIF that I just made. Not aligned perfectly (my fault), but the hand is the same. pic.twitter.com/N7Zii1qRMY

They also analysed Trump's head movement, relative positions of everyone and even checked the original Getty image to prove it.
Look, would you put this past him? Absolutely not. However, he's doing far more embarrassing and downright despicable things, so maybe focus on that stuff instead.
