A nightclub in Miami, Florida has had its business licence revoked after footage of a dancer on top a horse being walked out into the middle of its dancefloor sparked outrage online.
Several videos show the horse kicking and bucking the dancer off itself as it loses its footing on the floor before walking away, all in the middle of Mokai Lounge during a typical night's business. The footage has since circulated online and a petition to have the nightclub closed reached over 2,000 signatures sparked the city's police and authorities into action.

Miami-Dade Police Department have since inspected the horse and found it to be safe and healthy, whilst city manager Jimmy Morales said in a statement that he was "disgusted and offended that any legitimate businessperson would think this was an appropriate action to take."
"This activity was not permitted, and as soon as we became aware, I immediately instructed staff to act swiftly in remedying this situation." Meanwhile, Mokai Lounge has since been shut down following its business licence being revoked and the club's owner, Roman Jones, has said that the marketing manager who came up with the publicity stunt has been suspended without pay.
It's not the first time something like this has happened in Mokai Lounge, however. Local news outlet CBS4 showed social media images of a camel and a donkey being led through the nightclub during operating hours on previous occasions.
