Nicola Coughlan's star has been shining bright this week as the Irish actress launches her leading lady season of 'Bridgerton', out today on Netflix.
Coughlan was on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' chatting to the host about what a huge hit 'Bridgerton' is and her fame off the back of it. She's so good in her role as Penelope Featherington that fans are often shocked she's not British.
When Seth asked, "Is it true people are disappointed when they learn you are not British?" Coughlan replied, "Oh absolutely yes. They should be more excited because I am Irish. I am great craic."
The 37-year-old Galway actress originally rose to fame for her role as Clare in Channel 4's 'Derry Girls', but there's no doubt this current 'Bridgerton' season will see her go stratospheric.
'Bridgerton' season 3 Part One is on Netflix today (May 16th).
