We know you love podcasts but we also know finding one that's right for you can feel like an endless scroll so here, we , the staff of entertainment.ie, are going to recommend a series of podcasts you should definitely consider checking out.

First out, we've got...

'Criminal'

Unlike other true crime podcasts that examine a single case in detail, Criminal documents a new lawbreaker or crime each week. Host Phoebe Judge finds some of America’s most unusual cases and delves into the story behind them. You’ll learn about a serial streaker and the woman who introduced pot brownies to San Francisco, and get a new prospective on why people commit crimes.

'WTF with Marc Maron'

Although he may have gone more into the mainstream with his role in 'GLOW' and his comedy standup specials, most people know Marc Maron as the host of WTF, his long-running podcast interview series that's seen him interview everyone. Pretty much everyone. He famously interviewed Barack Obama and his most recent episodes saw him talking to Josh Brolin, Melissa McCarthy, Bob Balaban and Rachel Bloom.

'Oprah's SuperSoul Sunday Conversations'

She doesn't need an introduction but if you're living your life without hearing her week-to-week, you're really missing out. 'Oprah's SuperSoul Sunday Conversations' sees her sit down (or sometimes stroll around her garden) as she interviews everyone from celebrities (like 'A Wrinkle In Time' co-star Reese Witherspoon) and best-selling authors to "spiritual luminaries" and health and wellness experts. Of course, it's all done in Oprah's trademark sincere manner but you really haven't lived until you've heard her and RuPaul Charles giggle themselves into a fit just before stumbling upon an 'Aha!' moment that may just change your life.

'The Rewatchables'

There are certain movies that you can watch over and over but it's hard to put your finger on what gives them that quality. In this series from the Ringer Podcast Network, HBO’s Bill Simmons and a roundtable of guests look back on various iconic movies, both classic and more recent, including 'Jaws', 'The Devil Wears Prada', 'Forrest Gump', 'Inception', 'Get Out', 'Good Will Hunting', 'Creed' and 'Jerry Maguire', to name just a few. Bill and his team provide sharp, hilarious insight into their film of choice and reveal a whole bunch of behind-the-scenes trivia that you may not have known about your favourite movies.

'S Town'

'S-Town' hails from the same production team that brought the world's number one podcast 'Serial', and is just as gripping although for entirely different reasons. While it begins with a murder investigation it soon becomes a completely different story that focuses on the unusual life and colourful character of John B. McLemore. Hosted by Brian Reed, 'S-Town' is the fascinating story of a man whose story may have easily not been told and one which sheds a light on small town America for all its faults and quirks.
