You may remember hearing about the Hulk Hogan racism controversy during the summer.

Things got pretty bad for the wrestling icon after that. His contract with the WWE was immediately terminated and he was subsequently removed from the WWE Hall of Fame, which must have stung most of all considering the organisation thrived on his popularity in the 80s.

Despite his fall from grace, Hogan has been putting himself out there in front of his fans in a bid to regain their trust. He is currently touring the UK for his 'An Evening with Hulk Hogan' show which is billed as a no holds barred Q&A event in which he will field questions about both his career and his troubled personal life.

The Hulkster appeared on ITV's This Morning, today to promote the tour and was asked about the racism controversy.

As has been the case since the height of the controversy, Hogan is using all opportunities to apologise for his mistake and ask for a second chance.

He is still hopeful that there might be a return to the WWE on the cards in the future, quoting his former employer Vince McMahon with "Never say never." But given his age (61) and the amount of time it could take for him to rebuild his reputation it's unlikely we'll see him wrestle another match inside a WWE ring again.
