For some reason, the Guinness Book Of World Records doesn't recognise breed-specific attempts to put dogs together in one place at one time, but that hasn't stopped people from attempting it nonetheless.

Yesterday, the Border Collie Owners of South Australia attempted to break the unofficial world record for most Border Collies in one place at one time in Willaston Oval. The record attempt topped out with 576 very good boys and girls gathered together in a football pitch, and it's just a sight to behold. The previous record was 503 dogs and was made in 2013 by TV vet Dr. Katrina Warren.

Here's a video taken during the record attempt. So. Many. Dogs.
