After her scorching, ruthless, just unbelievably brilliant speech at the White House Correspondents Association dinner on Sunday, you'd imagine Michelle Wolf would be riding high on a wave of praise.

Right after the speech ended, Netflix posted out the trailer to her new talk show and, so it seemed, all was right with the world. Or maybe not. Unsurprisingly, a large number of high-profile Republicans took exception with her speech and argued that she was bullying Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House Press Secretary for Donald Trump - a guy who regularly takes to Twitter to insult people and does so at podium speeches, too.

The arguments against Wolf's speech weren't just coming from the White House either. Journalists from the New York Times also took exception to Wolf's speech (she called papers "an endangered species", so maybe that had something to do with it) and now, the White House Correspondents Association has issued a statement effectively denouncing Wolf's speech.

Take a look.
