Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has arrived in Ireland for an official visit and everything seems to be going swimmingly.
He is holding talks with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar (centred mostly on trade agreements), and will later be hosted by President Michael D. Higgins.
As well as being PM, Trudeau is world-renowned for his legendary choice of socks – which in the past included Star Wars socks for May the 4th, the day he met former Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Today, he opted for simple grey and white striped socks and since Varadkar wore Canadian-themed Mounties and maple leaves-adorned socks, we think it’s pretty clear who has won this round in the War of the Hoses.
