Tom Hanks is the friend who goes above and beyond to make sure you’re looked after.
The actor was up for Best Actor (Drama) in last night’s Golden Globes ceremony – he lost to Gary Oldman for his performance as Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour – and did the sweetest thing ever for his table, which included The Post director Steven Spielberg.
People present that night were quick to tweet out pics of the legendary thespian delivering martinis to his table, with several complimenting the actor and some asking if they could be included in the next round.
Best thing I've seen here. Tom Hanks delivering a tray of martinis to his table. The best. #goldenglobes pic.twitter.com/GkyQy8NCMy

I just witnessed Tom Hanks go to the bar to order and carry back 4 martinis on a wobbly tray by himself. It’s office. He’s perfect.

Hanks also got a big compliment from Seth Meyers early in the night when during his opening monologue, the host said that Hanks should run for Vice President of America at the next election with Oprah Winfrey, who gave a rousing speech of her own, running for President.
