Although some reading this of a certain age may remember Kermit from when he was voiced by Jim Henson, the majority of us will know Kermit's voice as it was with Steve Whitmire, the puppeteer who took over the voicing duties of Kermit following Henson's death in 1990.

Well, as you may have heard, a long-running feud between Whitmire and Disney ended with Whitmire dismissed from The Muppets after 27 years as Kermit. The character, of course, wasn't going to be retired - and has now been replaced by puppeteer Matt Vogel.

So, how does he sound? Well, to us, nothing like Kermit. Judge for yourself.

It doesn't sound right - at all. Vogel, however, has some experience as Kermit. The puppeteer voiced and operated Constantine in 2014's Muppets Most Wanted, and has now taken over the role from Whitmire - so he's clearly here to stay.

Does he sound the same to you? Let us know in the comments!
