As we reported yesterday, High School teen Jacob Staudenmaier got creative when he asked Emma Stone to be his prom date.
Staudemaier re-created the opening number from the film that won Stone her Best Actress Oscar, La La Land. The teen changed the lyrics around to ask Stone to his senior prom and to be fair to him he did a pretty good job.
Turns out Stone thought so too as she responded to his video today. She sent a response to Jacob which he read out on live TV for Good Morning America. Check it out.

"JACOB! Thanks for making the greatest proposal I have ever received. I can't tell you what an honour that was and how much I smiled through that entire beautifully orchestrated video," it read.
"I'm in London working, but I hope you have the best time at prom, and I'm grateful you thought of me. THANK YOU. P.S. I do see [Ryan] Gosling around the eyes. Love, Emma."
Although he was ultimately unsuccessful, we're sure Jacob will have no shortage of potential takers after Stone's endorsement. Particularly the Gosling around the eyes part!
