The news that Donald Trump would be appointing Myron Ebell, a known climate change denier, as the head of the Environmental Protection Agency was met with dismay amongst many in the scientific community. 

They are terrified at the prospect of having to face into the next four years with someone that opposes their scientific beliefs at the helm of one of the world's largest environmental agencies. 

Tyson had yet to comment on the news until this afternoon. At least we're assuming that's what the below tweet was about as it is a little vague and there were no follow up tweets to clarify his position. 

While the inspiration of the tweet remains uncertain, his intention seems pretty clear. He wants to discuss science with President elect Trump, and he wants to do it with the billionaire's full attention. 

The tweet is of course a riff on Trump's own tape recordings scandal in which he could be heard bragging about groping women by the genitals. 

There were some wonderful responses to Tyson's tweet but for our money, this one will never be topped.
