... AND it's just of the back of their heads, so we're meant to believe it's them. What a stellar news week we're having. They've openly kissed onstage during the MTV VMA's last month, so why does anyone give a toss about a grainy picture of their rear views at a concert?!
The ex-lover (you know, before he repeatedly slammed her head in a car door and bit her fingers) attended Jay Z's concert at the Barclays Centre together in the city last night (03.10.12) shortly after they both emerged from the Gansevoort Hotel. They were also spotted kissing at New York hotspot Griffin on Monday night.
Chris was spotted with his arm draped across the back of Rihanna's seat in the VIP section of the gig, suggesting her mentor Jay Z has given his blessing to their controversial reunion. Rihanna has obviously attracted lots of criticism since she started meeting up with the 22-year-old singer again in recent months following his violent assault of her in February 2009 - for which he was convicted.
Needless to say, Chris's girlfriend Karrueche Tran finally got round to dumping him earlier this week. The nail in the coffin might have been the response on twitter when she sent round a picture of some roses Chris had sent her. One follower described her as "universally clowned."
A source said: "Karrueche finally had enough and dumped Chris for good. Karrueche and Chris had been on thin ice for a while, but after he was spotted getting with Nicole Scherzinger('s ear) in a Los Angeles nightclub recently, and then when reports surfaced that he had hooked up with Rihanna - so she finally dumped him."
The model has fuelled speculation she has left the Beautiful People singer with a series of "cryptic tweets" following the news of his alleged hook-up, one of them being: "There's a difference between a man and a boy. I prefer men (sic)."
As fans speculated whether she had kicked Chris to the curb, she posted: "Remember I said I prefer men."
