So Sofia Vergara - the hot, mouthy Colombian one from Modern Family - has been engaged for a few weeks now. We weren't entirely sure how much truth there was to this rumour as Vergara had yet to comment, but thankfully, her son Manolo Gonzalez was daycent enough to capture the whole thing on camera, thus confirming to us gossipmongers that the engagement is indeed legit. Like a moth to a flame we were very excited to see this video which you can catch below.
The Modern Family star was holidaying in Mexico with some friends and fam fam to her 40th birthday last month when her beau gave her an extra special gift of a diamond ring.
Little did she know her son was making his own little diary of the event, revealing on YouTube how Vergara's boyfriend Nick Loeb got down on one knee at the top of a very romantic Mayan ruin in Mexico.
"One of my mom's dreams came true. As a little girl, she always wanted to go to the top of the pyramids. Unfortunately, people are not allowed to do that anymore. But since it was her birthday, her team worked for months on end to get her special permission to go up! Once they were to the top of the pyramid, my mother's longtime boyfriend, Nick, proposed to her."
