'The O.C.' star is set to be part of the new reboot, 'The Hills: New Beginnings'.
MTV announced yesterday evening that they are bringing hit TV show 'The Hills' back for a revival, and the new show will premiere sometime in 2019.
The most notable news of the revival announcement, however, is that Mischa Barton will now be joining the cast. Barton, who was part of 'The O.C.' for it's first three seasons, will join the ranks of original cast members Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, Frankie Delgado, Heidi Pratt, Jason Wahler, Justin “Bobby” Brescia, Spencer Pratt, Stephanie Pratt and Whitney Port, who are all also expected to make a return.
The news broke before 'The Hills' official Twitter account revealed the news is official:

No other details have been revealed yet, but needless to say fans are a little bit excited at the thought of the LA crossover:

We are excited to see what sort of personal and professional problems (major drama) Barton gets up to in her new job.
