Having not shared a red carpet for 14 months, all eyes were on Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth as the much rumoured about couple took to the red carpet in LA for the premiere of Hemsworth's latest film Paranoia.
According to Us Weekly, the pair didn't even bother to try and act as if everything was alright, fueling rumours that their engagement is on the rocks. 'Miley and Liam acted like they didn't even know each other the entire night,' the source says. 'She was wearing her ring but they acted as if they were strangers'. Both dodged questions about the status of their relationship, and apparently Miley even tried to give Hemsworth a quick peck every now and then but 'they were awkward and he didn't seem into them'.
So how did the gathered press try and get around that? They asked them about their thoughts on social media, and Liam almost had a dig at Miley's constant tweeting.
'On Twitter, I don't share anything personal. I try to keep as much of my personal life to myself. I don't feel the need to go out and show the world what's happening in my life every second.' he said. 'I think it's a good chance to connect with fans and give fans an inside look on films you do. I think it's great for that kind of thing, but it's very new to me.'
Miley and Liam have stayed relatively silent about the status of their relationship over the past few months, which has just made speculation about their relationship status all the more fierce. Last time she directly answered the question Miley answered and didn't answer by responding with a cheeky 'Well I'm still wearing my ring so...', all the while plugging away at getting her new music and look out there into the public eye.
Meanwhile Liam Hemsworth has stayed pretty much out of the spotlight, but that's all going to change with the upcoming release of Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Wonder how Miley's going to feel when all the attentions back on him again.
