This is very sad news if true.
Val Kilmer is currently battling cancer, it has been revealed by Michael Douglas.
According to the Sun, Douglas claims that it's also the same form of cancer that he himself has in 2010.
Speaking at a Q&A with Jonathan Ross at 'An Evening with Michael Douglas' in London las night, Douglas brought Kilmer up while speaking about their 1996 movie 'The Ghost in the Darkness'.
"The picture didn’t turn out as well as I hoped but I had a wonderful time. Val was a wonderful guy who is dealing with exactly what I had, and things don’t look too good for him," he said. "My prayers are with him. That’s why you haven’t heard too much from Val lately."
Rumours about Kilmer's health are not new, with the actor repeatedly denying them in various social media posts over the years.
He has yet to comment on Douglas' claims, but has posted to Facebook today to talk about his latest project. His representatives have yet to comment also.
