Just when you thought the weather couldn't get any worse...
Met Éireann have issued a status alert red warning for high winds, stating that gusts of between 130 to 150km/h will batter the country over the next 24 hours or so.
The areas worst affected will be coastal and mountain areas of Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Limerick and Kerry, but the country as a whole has been warned to look out for winds that are so strong that they may damage property or cause disruption.
