As was already reported earlier in the week, Mel Gibson is in Dublin shooting his new movie, The Professor and the Madman with Sean Penn.
The actor was already spotted enjoying some of the best food the city has to offer at FX Buckley's and now is taking in some culture at the Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival.
The star reportedly went to see Riot, one of the most talked about shows of the festival, last night.
According to Panti Bliss, one of the stars of the show, Gibson was in the crowd last night to watch a naked Jesus getting beaten by members of the crowd with pool noodles.
Mel Gibson is at #RIOTdublin and he's just about to see a naked Jesus in cling-film get beaten by ten people with pool noodles. 😱😱😂😂😄😄

What's more, reportedly one of the members of the crowd to take part in the whipping was Mick Wallace TD. This is Pop Baby, the production company behind Riot, tweeted that it was 'just another night at #RIOTdublin'.
Mel Gibson watched on while Mick Wallace whipped Jesus. This is a true story. Just another night at #RIOTdublin

Gibson is a devout Catholic so it's not known how the scene went down with him but we can say that we absolutely loved the show.
