Depending on your age bracket, Meat Loaf is either the singer of 'Real Dead Ringer For Love', 'Bat Out Of Hell', the guy with the boobs from 'Fight Club', or you've never heard of him.
Take your pick and move on, basically. In a freewheeling interview with vaunted bastion of journalism Daily Mail, Meat Loaf claimed that climate activist Greta Thunberg has been brainwashed into thinking climate change is real.
"I feel for that Greta. She has been brainwashed into thinking that there is climate change and there isn’t," Meat Loaf said, just as a portion of Australia the size of Belgium is currently on fire due in part to high temperatures caused by climate change.
Meat Loaf also said out loud in front of a person recording the conversation that Thunberg "hasn’t done anything wrong but she’s been forced into thinking that what she is saying is true." Again, there is literally decades of science proving that climate change is real, but sure '70s soft-rock icon Meat Loaf, go off.
Meanwhile, Greta Thunberg hasn't yet publicly responded to Meat Loaf, probably because she's never heard of him and has in fact changed her name to Sharon on Twitter in response to that 'Celebrity Mastermind' that did the rounds the other day.
