It was dubbed the fight of the century and has been almost six years in the making, but many are calling last night's matchup an anti-climax.
Some, it would seem, are even calling for a rematch and foul against Mayweather. The currently undefeated boxer was on the defensive for most of the fight, barely landing a punch on Pacquiao until the third round.
Pacquiao's assault was relentless, however it did almost nothing to deter Mayweather, who grabbed, held and slid his way out of any attack.
Mayweather won on points, going the full twelve rounds against Pacquiao. The judges' decision was met with boos and reaction online has been vehemently against Mayweather.

It's unclear if there will be a rematch, as Mayweather says he has one fight left in him before he retires. It's doubtful that Pacquiao will agree to fight him again, especially considering last night's results and the fallout from it.
One thing's for certain - Mayweather will continue to be one of boxing's most hated figures.
As for celebrities ringside, it was pretty much a who's who. In fact, Las Vegas airport was closed to private traffic, due to the amount of personal aeroplanes that had landed on the strip.
