Where on earth has the time gone. Last time I paid any attention to Matthew McConaughey he was starring alongside Kate Hudson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003) and then he caught my eye again when he hooked up with Penelope Cruz (until their split in 2006) after that crap movie they made together - Sahara. Now though, 6 years later, they're both happily married to their respective other halves - Camila Alves and Javier Bardem - and soon McConaughey will become father to his third child with Alves (13 years his junior).
The exciting news about their expectant addition to their family came via McConaughey's Twitter just yesterday, July 4th. The 'Magic Mike' star wrote 'Happy birthday America, more good news, Camila and I are expecting our 3rd child, God bless, just keep livin.' Even on Twitter you can hear his deep southern accent coming through.
Camila Alves tweeted much the same message just 20 minutes before her Killer Joe star husband did.
Having officially tied the knot just last month on June 6th at their Texas home, they were asked by People magazine what their dreams for the future would be. The couple responded by saying "More of the same and more family!". Well, the grass won't grow too long under this pair's feet. The third baby will be brother or sister to their two year old daughter, Vida and their 3 and-a-few-quarters year old son Levi.
