This is the social media version of wearing a giant "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY" badge that you bought yourself.

There are easier ways of getting attention on your birthday, especially if you're internationally famous like Mark Hamill, but lo and behold, Luke Skywalker is always full of quirky surprises and this morning took to Twitter to remind the world it was his birthday by posting a 'Happy Birthday' tweet to himself.

If he really wanted to treat us, he'd give us a new 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' trailer but seeing as he previously tweeted and then deleted that it was coming on October 9th, we guess we'll have to wait a bit more.
