Talk about greatest fears coming to life.
Walter Williams from Lexington, Mississippi gave funeral home staff and probably himself the scare of a lifetime this week after kicking his way out of a body bag just prior to being embalmed.
Having been declared legally dead only hours before, family members watched as he was zipped up and taken away but got a call at 2.30am telling them their dearly beloved and deceased wasn't so deceased after all. Doctors reckon that Williams' pacemaker crapped out for a while and kicked back in later, and described the whole thing as a "miracle".
Williams' family have meanwhile described him as a "fighter".
