To say that the person responsible was probably in the dog house might be a bit of an understatement.
Not many people turn to the ancient art of skywriting to apologise for their errors, but one man in Brisbane decided recently to give it a go and see if it might get him the forgiveness that he is clearly seeking.
Uh oh. Someone's in trouble. Wonder what happened there? #sorry #brisbane #7newsq pic.twitter.com/3i8IWZNtOb

The as yet unidentified man decided to contact Rob Vance of Skywriting Services Australia, who said that he seemed "calm, cool and collected" as he detailed the message, which was essentially a giant love heart and the words "I'm sorry".
Vance said it's not the first time that he's been contacted to do some sky-based apologising for someone, and that the man behind this gesture spent $4000 (€2900) on it, so we reckon there's a decent chance that he's in a lot of trouble.
So far, we don't know who the author or the recipient of the note is, but all will hopefully be revealed at some stage.
