If Macaulay Culkin isn't busy recreating his iconic movie 'Home Alone' for Google, it seems he is off hatching plans to change his middle name.
The former child star shared a post on his lifestyle website Bunny Ears back in November in which he described his middle name - as "something dumb" and asked readers to "send in some better options". (It's actually Carson - which is fairly grand as middle names go but sure who needs logic here.)
He narrowed down the submissions to five and then asked readers to vote on which one they wanted. The options were: 'Macaulay Culkin', 'Shark Week', 'Kieran', 'TheMcRibIsBack' or 'Publicity Stunt'.
On Christmas Day he announced the winner was... 'Macaulay Culkin'.
Merry Christmas to me, from all of you!
My new middle name has been chosen. You voted and the winner is clear.
In 2019 my new legal name will be:
Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin.
It has a nice ring to it (if you like my name).#MerryChristmas— Macaulay Culkin (@IncredibleCulk) December 25, 2018
Yep. So his new name is now set to be 'Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin'.
We would have gone with Shark Week ourselves but sure there's no accounting for taste.
