And you thought your head was sore today...
As it turns out, geese are remarkably hardy creatures who can endure a whole lot of pain, including a damn dart in the head.
A local TV station in Atlanta is asking the public to keep an eye out after a local woman spotted this poor goose walking around with a dart in its head, and wants to try and find those responsible for what is apparently not that uncommon a sight, as "officials say this kind of thing is happening more and more".

According to SB Nation, a Google Books search shows that this isn't the first time that a goose (who only had one leg, for Pete's sake) has had to survive with a dart in its head, while an image search will also bring up plenty of results of ducks and other fowl also getting darts through the head and surviving.

As for the goose in question, he was spotted yesterday, and a team from the AWARE Wildlife Center went to locate him and see what they could do for him. We're fairly sure that we speak for everyone when we say people need to stop shooting geese in the head with darts. Not cool, yo.
